Spring Car Maintenance - Winter Blahs affect your car too!
Don't forget your car when you're doing your Spring Cleaning!
At the end of Winter, especially a mild one like this year, it is easy to neglect basic maintenance. Now is the time to bring your car in for a Spring check-up. Let us inspect your fluids, correct the alignment, check the air-conditioning, inspect your suspension, rotate & balance your tires and do a general safety inspection.
One thing I am very proud of at AutoScandia is that we do only what is necessary to keep your car reliable. Whether you own an Audi Q5, or a humble Toyota Corolla, we treat both with equal respect. I am also proud of having assembled the most talented and caring group of technicians and office personnel you will ever meet. Most of you know this, since a majority of you have been coming to us for many years.
At this time, we have specialists on staff who are dedicated to the following makes: Volvo, Saab, BMW-MINI, Volkswagen-Porsche-Audi, Toyota-Lexus-Scion.
When I say we employ specialists, I mean it! Besides using dedicated factory diagnostic tools, these technicians have years of training and are the only ones permitted to work on their respective makes. In addition, we use a wide variety of vehicle-specific fluids and filters - a point that cannot be overstated. Virtually every vehicle made has fluid requirements that are unique. We never install generic fluids or filters, a mistake that could dramatically impact the service life of engines, transmissions and many other components. In fact, this is one of the primary reasons we specialize - to help your vehicle last longer!
As you know, we service many other makes as well, but even these vehicles are serviced by specialists since only select members of our staff are permitted to work on these other makes. In short: everyone at AutoScandia is a specialist. We do this for the sake of quality, and to save you both time and money. Our focus on specialization separates us from virtually every independent shop in our region.
Recently, with the addition of two, factory-trained, Toyota/Lexus/Scion technicians, we have begun a new division within our company. These technicians have been trained in every Toyota Automotive Group model, including hybrids!
In the coming weeks, we will be bringing in an award-winning Mercedes technician to head up our Mercedes division. His arrival will coincide with the opening of our dedicated BMW facility at Sunset Park.
